A simple and timeless, not too dominant logo. Companyname 'De Dagdromer' must play a role in your design. |
| Brief: |
Hi desingers all over the world!
For a new, small bookpublishing company (thrillers, regional novels, sports) I need a timeless, not too dominant logo. The logo, in which the companyname must play a role, will be used for the housestyle (f.e. businesscards, website, envelopes, letters/invoices) and on bookcovers and spines.
Please include a good advice for two appropriate letterfonts for the usual stuff (name, address, telephone etc.) and correspondence.
Businessname: De Dagdromer (English: The Daydreamer). Possibly add the word ‘uitgeverij’ (English: publishing company). No matter if it is above or under the name.

Keywords/atmosphere: relaxed, lazy, ‘have a good time’, ‘feel good’, warm. |
| Unwish list: |
Complicated, too much details, corny, characterless. |

Brief updates:
Update on: 03 Aug 10, 10:14 PM :
After day one I see many of you struggle with the word 'de' as part of 'De Dagdromer'. Therefor it's okay if you ignore 'de' and use only 'Dagdromer'.
Take good care of the textcolor. In the future the logo must be used on different kinds of bookcovers and colors. A more neutral color in the logo makes it easier to use the logo in different situations.
