First I'd like to thank you for posting this project. I really enjoyed making the design.

It is meant to be a funny cover or at least one that catches the attention of the shoppers.
The fire has a bit of a symbolic meaning. It brings light into the darkness as the book itself.
Sorry for the elderly lady who is holding the board...I know that you asked to leave out this overused idea,but it would hurt to cut her out of the design.
I hope you like the cover.
