I just started my company 'Bureau Blossom' based on: my experience at two big management consulting firms, Accenture and PWC/ IBM, my coaching experiences founded at a one year Coach Academy, Leadership roles at a major Dutch bank and coaching executives in my free time. Now I feel I have reached the trust and capabilities to start my own consulting and coaching company. It will have one major difference setting it apart from traditional management consulting: I aim for fully integrating the people aspect into the transformation process, which enables the company to reach sustainable transformation instead of just changing the organisational structure and IT, which leaves the company with confused employees that have to deal with it. In my opinion this is something more in terms of a process than a project.
Currently I work with teams within major dutch companies such as TNT (Dutch Mail Delivery), Dutch Ministry of Defense and a major Hospital Group in The Hague. Next to this I do one on one coaching of executives in small to medium sizes companies. My aim is to coach executives leading i.e. business units at companies for one on one coaching as well as coaching Management Teams at larger companies and assist them in their organisational development.
The goal of my project at PimTim is to receive a design for business cards and a logo that have the impact to appeal and amaze while shining in pure simplicity. In the future a website design is also possible.

My initial ideas for the business cards are: central text 'Bureau Blossom', directly underneath that 'the Art of Living & Teaming', lower on the card my name: Esther Brouwer. Behind the text some kind of blossom or flower which shines through the text. But I am very interested in your ideas on the theme blossom and teaming and coaching.
For colour I recommend you to read the tab 'Do's' . Kind of material I think of is thicker old looking white paper. |

Pure and simple, honest, quiet, modern design, down to earth, implicating high quality and style. Show the integral approach between personal and business development. Connection between soft skills and business approach.
Colours I think of are the colours you find at the beach; in holland we call it liver-brown, sandcolour, warm grey. I doubt about ice-blue. But maybe also black. Not to many colours.
Font straight and modern like Copperplate Gothic bold for example (Arial is a bit too standard for me).
Not common, something unique, you remember. Not because of it's volume or busy colours, but more because it's uniqueness and style. |

Update on the colours: Card and logo should not be too brown. White and darkblue have to be main colours, maybe with fuchsia (pink) details.
