The community itself is represented by the stylized circles, that look "chained together" as one community usually is, right? :) And the inner circle (in the middle of the "chain") is about the protection, since the outer circle holds this one - as anyone holds and cares for his own property. I hope this helps out a bit with the "Decoration or not decoration?" question.

I understand your concern about the logo functionality; however, it wasn't here for decorational purposes only. To describe my thought process and explain it a bit - it is depicting the "Vereniging" - the unity, community of people who have something in common and that is their property.

I appreciate the clean and friendly design.
The functionality of the logo however is very difficult for me.
I suppose it is only decoration.
